Many people who repair sewing machines (of which I am one), another
precision device, find Tri-Flow lubricant to be a superior product.
It is formulated with the same ingredient as found in Teflon -- thus
when the carrier oil eventually evaporates it leaves behind a slight
amount of "Teflon" which will continue to lubricate the mechanism for
a substantial period of time.  This was initially used in the bicycle
community.

CLP Breakfree (which stands for Cleans Lubes Protects), initially
developed for guns, I believe, is a similar product.  It is not as
aggressive a penetrant as PB Blaster (and there are far more aggressive
penetrants than that) but really works well.

Tri-Flow and CLP Breakfree also do not have as noxious fumes as PB
Blaster.  I will only use PB Blaster outdoors when I must use it
because it gives me a horrible headache almost immediately.  Tri-Flow
also makes a "sticky" grease which is highly effective where a light
grease is useful.
