Hello Mechanical Music Lovers,  I am sorry to report the passing of
Ken Vinen, a long time collector of mechanical music who lived in
Ontario, Canada.  Ken was innkeeper of a unique bed & breakfast inn
that featured his collection of mechanical music in a house that
dated back to 1870.  The house not only featured his collection but
also antiques and rare birds.

Ken had a long history in music performance, radio, and other
pursuits.  He attended the AMICA convention in Seattle in August and,
while ailing, enjoyed visiting the collections and catching up with
old friends.  He is survived by his husband, John.  I have not been
informed of any memorial plans at this time.
