Today, a little bird had told me the unfortunate news that well-known
mechanical music collector and entrepreneur Jasper Sanfilippo (president
and CEO of the Sanfilippo nut packaging company) met his time and was
laid to rest this Tuesday around friends and family at 88.

I first visited this phenomenal and opulent estate with my family
during a vacation to Chicago two years back in February 2018.  I have
known about this fantastic collection in the Midwest long before my
first visit and one of my dream goals in my life is to hopefully become
a curator or perhaps a maintainer of the instruments in the estates
when I am/and or feel ready to make my move to the state of Illinois
in the far future.

R.I.P. Jasper "Nut Man" Sanfilippo; may Mechanical Music Heaven welcome
you through their golden gates with warm and open arms.
