Mechanical Music on TV - "Wild Wild West"
By Uwe Gernert

Hello all, hi Lee, what You saw on that film was nearly identical
with the "Mikiphone" that was able to play 30 cm [12-inch]
shellacs. Here are two quick references (there should be others in
English by Googling Mikiphone or "smallest gramophone of the world"):

https://www.lokalplus.nrw/nachrichten/verschiedenes-kirchhundem/kleinstes-grammophon-der-welt-925

https://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/22977-swiss-mikiphone-the-worlds-smallest-gra

It's not identical to that used in the film, but you see that it's
possible and no fake to minimize gramophones. Maybe somebody else
may give a better hint to find out for the origin of that instrument
in the film.

Regards,
Uwe Gernert
