I am trying to save an Angelus Artrio reproducing piano that was left
in a parking lot by the owner. It was to be dumped. A nearby shop
put out a notice of the free piano but did not offer to put in their
space until I drove the 80 miles to see it.

The piano appears to be all there including the motor. I explained that
the system was an advanced player with all the works in the drawer.
The system is very capable of accurate playing. The neighboring shop
people offered to get it out of the weather and wheeled it to their
large indoor lumber yard -- time_limited!

I lifted the lid, which revealed bright and shiny interior. It had been
stored for years and the exterior is very dusty and typical wear for
70-year-old furniture. I will assist with any enquirers and help anyone
in getting in touch with the caretakes and the former owner who has
left it for pickup.

I wouldn't go so far but I always wanted to restore an Artrio because
of the simplicity and effective playing. It's a bit late for me due to
age and lack of space. Thanks to the neighbors who took several pictures
for me.
