AMICA Bulletin September October 2021 Released
By Glenn Thomas

The AMICA Bulletin's September-October issue has been released and
the print edition is being mailed to subscribers. If you subscribe
to the electronic version, you should have it now.

Our lead article tells the story of California's band organ man,
Ross Davis, and his family. They were responsible for many carousels,
band organs, amusements, and entertainment throughout the American
West. You'll be amazed at the rare pictures and historical documents;
there's so much to show and tell. Part Two will appear in an upcoming
issue.

Tom Meijer shows and tells the remarkable restoration story of the
90-key Carl Frei street organ, Hindenburg, playing in the streets
once again.

For the frequent listeners of Mechanical Music Radio, we publish an
Insider's Guide "tell-all" about how the internet radio station has
been so successful.

There's so much more, including a complete Guide to Mending Music
Rolls. Part Two of Matt Jaro's story about Unknown 88-note Piano Rolls,
and rescuing a Wurlitzer LX from a sinking riverboat!

Join AMICA at https://www.amica.org/ to get this and every issue
throughout the year.
