Kevin, I note your request for information on identifying rolls
and music box discs. You may already have information on the list
I prepared eight years ago for the three-disc sets of Symphonion
13-5/8" Eroica discs. But I thought I would share it with you,
since I saw only a few of the 8000 series on the U.K. web list.

About nine years ago, I undertook a project to identify all the
disc sets that Symphonium had issued for the Model 38 "Eroica"
three-disc music box. With the help of many collectors in the U.S.
and Europe, over a two-year period I identified several hundred
of the 8000 and 18000 series.

The list was published in the Volume 64, No. 1 (January/February
2018) issue of "Mechanical Music," the journal of the Musical Box
Society International. I listed the tune titles (in English and
German) and the composers of all discs I could find.

Of course, I'm missing some, particularly in the later 18000 series
discs that were issued in the U.S. If you can add any to this list,
it would be great to have a consolidated list for all collectors
to use. Nobody has provided me with any new items for the list since
it was published in 2018. My list is also shown on the website of
