Hupfeld 73-note Rolls
By Dan Wilson

This enquiry has just appeared in Usenet/rec.music.makers.piano:

> I've recently purchased a Bluthner player from 1910. I got it for
> a great price, and it needs very little rebuilding. However, my
> problem is that it takes a different roll than I've seen before.
> It's a 73 note player. The player action is of a Bluthner design,

> Does anyone know of a resource for these rolls? Thanks in advance.

I've given a little history of the (Hupfeld, not Bluthner) 73-note player but the rolls are only common in Germany and I have no suitable contact. Can any of our members in Germany help with advice here, please ?
