Mechanical Music in the Movies

I'm hitting them just right this weekend.  The 1940 movie "Three
Cheers For The Irish" contains a bar room fight where someone flings
a beer mug at what looks like an endless-roll standard coin piano with
a beveled clear glass front (the close-up view was fleeting).

It started to play QRS's arrangement of "Shuffle Off To Buffalo" for
some time as the brouhaha reached its peak.
