Lubricating a Thorens Disc Musical Box

I have Thorens Disc Music box and it does not want to play the discs
with lots of "notes" (the little part that hangs down and makes the
music).  My husband thinks it needs to be oiled, but I cannot find any
information about it.  Do you know where I would look?
