Grinnell Bros. Pianola
By Dick Merchant

[ An eBay item mentioned in 081216 MMDigest has a photo of a player
[ piano with the key cover labeled "Grinnell Bros. Pianola".

This is a very interesting item. The player action looks to be an
Aeolian action and the Pianola name is owned by Aeolian. I'm a little
stumped that it's in a Grinnell Brothers piano (of Detroit and Windsor)
as I thought Aeolian only put their actions in pianos they owned or in
pianos supplied under contract, like Steinways.

Does anyone know anything about this? Could this be a Canadian piano?
