Introduction
By Alan Fox

Hello, All! Because of a tip from an MBSI buddy, I have been reading the MMDigest articles now for several weeks and wish to express my appreciation for this marvelous, rich source of information and musical interchange...

I have been a member of the MBSI for almost 10 years and passionately collect both disc and cylinder boxes, in addition to an occasional paper roll organ here and there. I do have a restored Autopiano 88-note player and an unrestored English made 'stencil' 65-note player. Rolls? Well, at last count, about 2,000. There is also a Seeburg K (flute pipes with the dancing girls glass) here to round out the mechanical piano portion of the 'toy box'.

'Thank You' to everyone for their fascinating contributions to MMD and this resource data bank! I have made this address required breakfast- time reading to start my daily activities. (Isn't musical collecting a great, compelling hobby?!)
