Hi All,  Just a quick follow-up on this thread.  Most of the questions
have been answered thanks to about a dozen MMD'ers who took some time
out of their lives to help me.  Their efforts are much appreciated by
me and the piano's owner.  Thank you again.

It's interesting to note that the trackerbar that's now in the piano
was patented Oct 28, 1902 -- 104 years ago, tomorrow.  I don't know
exactly what that means as far as the player system goes, but it seems
fairly obvious that the Themodist scale design, associated with an 80+
note stack, must have been in someone's brain.  Then again, I suppose
it's possible that the Themodist holes were added to the bar, but I'm
pretty seriously inclined to doubt that was the case.

I'm still waiting for a few more photos which should put to rest the
speculation with regards to the Manual and/or Automatic Sustain.
However, in light of what I have already seen, I'm strongly inclined
to believe that an Automatic Sustain never existed.  I'll keep posting
