Organ Pipes

Yes, organ pipes will pull towards each other, but as far as I know,
only when they are being played, not while tuning one pipe and the one
next to it is not playing.  That said, this is one of the problems with
tuning an organ.  If you use one pipe on, say, the Diapason stop to
tune another one, like an Aeolian, they will slightly pull together as
you get near the correct tuning!  On the other hand, this is a good
thing, since organs that are somewhat near tune tend to sound more in
tune than they really are.
