The sale of Kennywood Park, West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, to
Parques Reunidos, a Spanish corporation that runs sixty-one
European amusement parks and American water parks, was announced
on December 17, 2007, by the Henninger and McSwigan families that
have owned Kennywood since 1906.  Included in the deal are Lake
Compounce Theme Park in Bristol, Connecticut, and Story Land in
Glen, New Hampshire.  The sale is reported here:
