Bruce,  I don't want to rain on your parade, but to the best of my
knowledge, magazines and periodicals do not qualify for USPS Media
Mail rates, and the U.S. Post Office has the right to open any Media
Mail parcels which they suspect may contain non-eligible items.

You may wish to check with your local post office, but I believe
Media Mail is restricted to bound books, film, recorded tape (video and
audio), CDs and DVDs, and isolated bits of exotica such as manuscripts,
loose-leaf pages containing medical information, and printed sheet
music.
