I have a 1928 Chickering Ampico that I had intended to restore, but fortunately I have found another instrument in working condition and reasonably priced. So, this "project" has to go. It is 5'8" and finished in ebony. The finish is in fair condition. Originally, I believe that this piano was finished in mahogany and later sprayed. The Ampico system does not work. As a piano, it plays well and keeps a tune. Please contact me if you are interested.
