Unknown Small Nickelodeon is a Coinola Midget
By Jack M. Conway

Hi Group, Ann Donoghue asked about an unknown nickleodeon [210716 MMD].
It is definitely a Coinola. It looks like one of their "Midget" series.

It is listed as "Coinola Midget Orchestrion with drums" in "The Reblitz
Bowers Encyclopedia"; see link below. It is not exactly the same but is
very similar.

Coinola was a division of the Operators Piano Company. I can't help with
the instruments date without a serial number. If you look up Coinola and
Operators Piano Company you will find more information.

My Coinola Midget K, serial number 175984, is thought to be circa 1921.
