Register Box Possibly from a 1902 Gavioli
By Christian Tedesco

Hello MMD, A little while ago I was browsing the internet and found
a blog post with a image of a register box, supposedly from a "1902
Gavioli". I have attached this photo below.

Clearly, this is not from a Gavioli organ. I posted the image to
a Facebook group, where Mr. Johnny Ling of the Grange collection said
it is similar to the register box of the De Vreese organ he owns, and
photos prove this fact.

Do note that in the photograph there appears to be some cardboard
tubing running behind the box, so it seems to be a historic instrument.
The presence of a Cor Anglais register also suggests a very early
organ. Perhaps the 1902 date is correct.

If anybody recognizes this register box, please let me know what
organ it comes from and any info you may have about it.

Thanks,
Christian Tedesco
